Birmingham Bears Cash for Clubs initiative is returning for the 2016 NatWest T20 Blast, with an extra £1,000 worth of building materials up for grabs for one lucky local cricket club thanks to Selco Builder’s Warehouse.

More than £1,000 was donated through Cash for Clubs last season, which is open to any registered cricket club and gives a £3 return on each Birmingham Bears adult ticket that’s purchased quoting the club’s unique code online or over the phone.

New for 2016, Official Partners Selco Builder’s Warehouse has given each cricket club that registers the chance to win a £1,000 to spend on building materials to enhance club facilities.

Alex Perkins, T20 Project Manager for Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said: “The recreational game is at the heart of everything we do and we want to ensure that our T20 matches at Edgbaston are as accessible as possible and support clubs as a fundraising activity.

“Every cricket club has costs for equipment, administration and maintenance to cover every year. Hopefully Cash for Clubs can help many local clubs and our thanks go to Selco in providing the £1,000 prize for one lucky entrant.”

As well as giving £3 back for adult tickets where a Cash for Clubs code is registered, under 16s go completely free to all seven Birmingham Bears home games in the NatWest T20 Blast, with the first match at Edgbaston against local rivals Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 27 May.

There will also be two T20 double header days this season, which feature men’s and women’s matches. On Sunday 19 June Birmingham Bears Women play Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston and Ian Bell and the men’s team face Lancashire Lightning. The second double header will be played at Edgbaston on Sunday 17 July with Birmingham Bears Women against Lancashire and the men’s team against Leicestershire Foxes.

Tickets for NatWest T20 Blast group games are priced for Adults at £19 in advance and £23 on the gate whilst under 16s are completely FREE. Please click here or call the Ticket Hotline to purchase.
