Jim Troughton reflects on a great start for the Bears

“In terms of the cricket, on a good wicket, to keep a good Notts team to that score was a great effort. Jeets opened up with two big wickets but they came back well, as good teams do, to post a competitive score.

“But Ian Bell and Sam Hain came out of the blocks really well and then Grant Elliot showed his skill and Rikki Clarke played a great little cameo. And then right at the end we had bit of help from Lady Luck who hasn’t been on our side too much in those 50/50 moments this year.”
