Birmingham Bears Women’s team kick off their NatWest T20 Blast season with a triple-header vs Somerset and Surrey on Sunday 18 June at Edgbaston Foundation Sports Ground. After finishing 2nd in 2016 and kicking off the 2017 season unbeaten and top of the Royal London One-Day League after 5 games, the ladies will be keen to take their one-day momentum into the T20 season.
Speaking to BirminghamBears.com Women’s coach Errol Simms said; “We have played some really great cricket to date and even though the next round of game is a different format, there is no reason we shouldn’t carry on in the same dominant mode.”
