Adam Hose will certainly remember his Birmingham Bears debut back in 2017 as his spectacular contribution of 76 off 43 balls set the Bears up for victory over Lancashire Lightning.

With Hose taking to the middle at Edgbaston for the first time after just 14 balls, he had plenty of time to demonstrate his talent to the crowd who were looking forward to seeing the new signing excel. He succeeded within two important partnerships with Sam Hain and Grant Elliot, with both coming at vital great pace.

His knock of 76, which included seven fours and five sixes and still remains his T20 career best and was the perfect way to start his career with the Bears.

‘’A fantastic win to start with and fantastic to get a win on debut as well,’’ said Hose.

‘’Right from the start of our batting innings we had great intent and the confidence we showed was fantastic, I feel very fortunate to have contributed today.

‘’You can be in the first over batting at 4 or can be in in the middle overs, it’s just the way it goes sometimes so I wasn’t surprised, it was just nice to get out there and score some runs.”
