Sian, 20, has been playing for Warwickshire since she was 9 years old as a wicket-keeper/batsman. As a youngster she began playing at Earlswood Cricket Club before moving to Moseley Cricket Club where she has played in boys, ladies and men’s teams overs the years.
Sian has since moved back to Earlswood CC and regularly plays men’s cricket in the Cotswold Hills league. She also now plays for Oxford University and is part of their MCCU setup. Sian is one of the many girls in the squad to have completed her level 2 coaching cricket award and she will be using this to coach the Argentinian women’s cricket team next year. Sian's career highlight was scoring 127* in the t20 varsity match against Cambridge.
For Sian being a bear is about all playing with aggression, pride and respect, and she is proud to have represented the Warwickshire bear for the past 10 years.
